Dear Kiawah Property Owner,
You are invited to join iKiawah, the new, uncensored property owner listserv about all things Kiawah. The central purpose of this listserv is to restore the opportunity for open, timely discussion of any and all Kiawah topics, including those now barred by KICA’s listserv. It is essential that our community not only be informed of developments on the Island, but be able to react to them so our leadership is not operating in a vacuum. All points of view are welcome, and civil discussion on issues and news of interest to the Kiawah community is encouraged.
If you have not closely followed KICA’s policy changes, you may have wondered why the range of topics on the Kicalist has lately been rather narrow. As many of you know, the reason is that posts have been stringently censored since July.
iKiawah will be a one-stop site for sharing information. In addition to the above, you can also request a helping hand, seek and offer referrals for trades people, babysitters, restaurants, etc., list items for sale, post information on social, religious, cultural, charitable and political events and engage in discussion with others about all things related to this wonderful island. iKiawah is intended to foster discussion and awareness among property owners and to address all subjects relating to home ownership and life on Kiawah.
